In a fitting act of justice, supporters on social media claim that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on his 66th birthday by Thames Valley Police after years of increasing pressure over his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Six unmarked authority vehicles were reportedly parked outside the former prince’s Wood Farm since the early hours of the morning, after which they apprehended him.
As part of the investigation, we have today (19/2) arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk. The man remains in police custody at this time”, the police statement read.
Andrew, meantime, is detained on suspicion of abusing his position of power during his ten years as the UK’s trade ambassador, including allegedly helping Epstein by giving him access to private investment paperwork.
In addition to Andrew’s questionable behavior in public service, there are other ongoing investigations by nine police units, they are reportedly investigating accusations against him, including smuggling women into the UK.
“Happy birthday, Andrew,” one person writes with joy on social media, indicating that many are ecstatic with Andrew’s arrest, especially because it happened on his birthday. “And why did it take this long?” asks a different user.
Andrew’s daughters and ex-wife have not yet responded to his arrest on his birthday.
