Seven up Bottling company launches annual sustainability report.

With the subject “Making a Clear Difference,” Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) has formally launched its annual sustainability report, reiterating its dedication to ethical business practices, environmental stewardship, and positive community impact throughout Nigeria. The report, which reaffirms SBC’s dedication to “People, Planet, and Progress,” offers a thorough summary of the company’s sustainability performance during the previous fiscal year, emphasizing significant accomplishments in the areas of corporate governance, social impact, and environmental management.

It highlights the business’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into its fundamental business processes while providing value to stakeholders and supporting national development agendas. Sari El-Khalil, managing director of Seven-Up Bottling Company, commented on the report as follows:

Sari El-Khalil, who served as a Board Member and Chief Transformation Officer assumed the role of Managing Director on July 1, 2025 replacing Ziad Maalouf.

Ziad Maalouf’s tenure transformed and grew the company significantly.

His leadership redefined Seven-Up’s go-to-market strategy, expansion, manufacturing capabilities, and his tenure launched major product lines such as Aquafina, Lipton Ice Tea, and Supa Komando.

Sari spent his early years in Nigeria before gaining global experience, Sari brings a combination of deep local insight and international perspective. He began his career at Seven-Up and holds leadership roles in sales, operations, and finance.

After earning his MBA from NYU Stern and working at PepsiCo USA, he returns to Nigeria in 2020 as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis. His leadership in digitisation and automation laid the foundation for his first role as the company’s first Chief Transformation Officer.
